NSF Noyce Scholarship
Do you have know a graduating senior who wants to become a MS/HS science or math (STEM) teacher?
Pacific University Woodburn Campus is offering $17,500 NSF Noyce Scholarships to STEM majors earning teacher licensure in our program. The next cohort starts June 20, 2022 and finishes May 20, 2023. Awardees earn a Master of Arts in Teaching STEM/ESOL and we have a 100% hiring rate over the past five years. We are especially interested in students who would help broaden participation in STEM education and careers.

Surfrider Scholarship
We are looking for candidates who will be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an Environmental Sciences or Natural Sciences field. We are supporting students from Coos and Curry Counties who have a passion and commitment to our natural world. In many years, we have awarded more than one scholarship.

That being said, we do also award “honorable mention” scholarships for students who inspire us, even though their career path may not fall directly within our mission.

OSSA Scholarship
COSA also assists in processing scholarships for the Oregon Small Schools Association. The $1000 scholarships are for students of OSSA member districts. Two scholarships each will be awarded in 1A, 2A and 3A districts. Applications must be submitted by March 15, 2022 and results will be announced by May 2022.

OASSA Scholarship
Each year the Oregon Association of Secondary School Administrators (OASSA) awards two $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from Oregon public high schools. The scholarships may be used for a 2- or 4-year university, trade, or professional/technical school. These two scholarships are for a son, daughter, or dependent child of an OASSA member who meet the criteria listed on the application. The applications must be postmarked by March 16, 2022. Results will be announced by May 2022.
