Superintendent's Office

Superintendent Wayne Gallagher retired from the District in June, and the School Board has appointed Jeff Philley as the Interim Superintendent for the 2026 - 2027 School Year.

Mr. Philley brings extensive experience and a strong knowledge of the Coquille School District to this role. In addition to being a proud graduate of Coquille High School, he has served in a variety of leadership positions, including Coquille High School Principal, District Athletic Director, Special Education Director, Basketball Coach, and Assistant Superintendent. His experience across multiple areas of the District provides him with a broad understanding of our schools, students, staff, programs, and operations.

As interim Superintendent, Mr. Philley will work closely with the School Board, staff, families, and community to provide strong leadership and continuity while keeping the District focused on supporting students and preparing for a successful 2026-2027 school year.
